    Last year I created a LibGuide with Special Ed teachers on research. We call it Research Made Easy.

    They described how they wanted it set up and I set it up for them.

    After creating the LibGuide, I gave a workshop to the Special Ed case managers on using the different resources for their students. Since then, they have taught their students to look for the link to "Research made Easy" on any LibGuide that I create.

    On 1/21/15 we have an Early Release and we are calling it Research Day. It is an edcamp style PD day for teachers all focused on using our research rubric to create performance assessments. I'm also introducing classroom teachers to "Research made Easy" and "Scholarly Research" so they can differentiate in their classes.

    I will be offering a workshop with a special education teacher on differentiating instruction using academic databases for our high school teaching staff in February.  

    Our plan is to focus on Britannica School and Gale's new note-taking feature.  If you or teachers you work with are using this feature or databases in any way to differentiate instruction will you please share.
